Moving to the Point of Customer Interaction
As mobile technology drives the next wave of enterprise computing, management and security requirements cross new boundaries and invoke a whole new set of challenges. In his presentation, Jack Gold will provide concrete information on wireless deployment choices and the steps required to manage mobile devices and secure information.
Mr. Gold has over 35 years in the computer and electronics industries, including work in imaging, multimedia, technical computing, consumer electronics, software development and manufacturing systems. He is a leading authority on mobile, wireless and pervasive computing, advising clients on business analysis, strategic planning, architecture, product evaluation/selection and enterprise application strategies.
Before founding J. Gold Associates, he spent 12 years with META Group as a vicepresident in Technology Research Services. He also held positions in technical and marketing management at Digital Equipment Corp. and Xerox. Mr. Gold has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Clark University .

Mr. Hungerford is responsible for marketing within North America at Sybase, including all aspects of marketing programs, partner marketing and field readiness. Prior to joining Sybase in 2004, he had a 10-year tenure with Hewlett-Packard Company in a variety of marketing management roles, most recently as the Global Business Manager for Oracle, where he was responsible for the worldwide sales, marketing, and solution development of Oracle products on HP. Mr. Hungerford earned his MBA from The Wharton School of Business and a BSEE degree from Duke University.
